Artist's Description

I enjoyed finding old restored vehicles while visiting the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC.

Here's a snippet about the 1964 Corvair from Wikipedia:

The Chevrolet Corvair is a compact car manufactured by Chevrolet for model years 1960–1969. It was the only American-designed, mass-produced passenger car to use a rear-mounted, air-cooled engine.

About Ali Baucom

Ali Baucom

I have had the innate love of creating art since as far back as I can remember. My older sister teases me that I liked drawing so much, that when I was 3 years old, I climbed over her bed and ate her crayons that she had tried to hide from me. So, if I take my sister’s view on things, you could say that art is truly within me. This passion continued through the years landing me in the National Art Honor Society in high school where I helped organize and bring the Very Special Arts Festival to our county. I then volunteered with the event for 11 years after graduation. I have had artwork hanging in England, Canada, Australia, and in over 7 states in the United States. I have also donated framed artwork and/or merchandise to the Annual...
